Patricia
Ann Geringer received her Law Degree
from Creighton University after
graduating from the University
of Nebraska at Omaha.
During Law School, Mrs. Geringer worked as an
intern with the Douglas County
Attorney - gaining invaluable
knowledge of criminal law and
legal research. As an intern,
Mrs. Geringer participated as
a staff member in two high profile
legal cases.
Upon graduation and passing the Nebraska State
Bar Examination, she accepted
a position with the Douglas County
Child Support Office.
From 1984 through 1993, in addition to her government
responsibilities, Mrs. Geringer
maintained a private law office
where she practiced real estate
law, bankruptcy and commercial
law. In 1993 she joined PSI as
a senior Child Support Attorney.
Between 1987 and 1995 she was also a senior partner
in an area real estate agency.
Since 1998, Mrs. Geringer has
been practicing privately in
the fields of Family, Bankruptcy,
Real Estate and Contract Law.
Her 18 years of family law experience
has provided her the experience
necessary to ensure her clients
of exceptional representation.
A lifelong Omahan and a graduate of Benson High
School, Mrs. Geringer was elected
to the Omaha Public School's
Board of Education where she
served with distinction introducing
enhanced property purchasing
and acquisition policies together
with ground-breaking 'Bench-Mark'
student testing. In addition
to her elected activities, she
has been appointed to numerous
advisory boards and committees
over many years. Mrs. Geringer
continues to serve as a local community group leader.
Aside from practicing law with literally hundreds
of hours of court room experience,
Mrs. Geringer has taught a number
of classes in Real Estate, Real
Estate Law and Business Law.
Currently she teaches Business
Law at the University of Nebraska
at Omaha.
In the field of general real estate related law,
Mrs. Geringer brings well over
20 years of extensive, practical
experience in a wide variety
of activities involving real
property, business and family
law - to her legal career for
the benefit of her clients. Her
legal and business experience
includes contract reviews, government
contracts, contract bid development
and compliance, mortgage instruments,
trusteeships, preparing and reviewing
sales and purchase contracts
and overseeing contract management
issues.
